Continued Success For Lancashire HR Forum With Forbes’ Support

Forbes Solicitors has signed up to support a Lancashire based employer’s forum for a further 2 years after the continued growth and success of the events.

The Lancashire HR Employer’s Forum has now been supported by Forbes Solicitors since 2011 and over this period the forums have seen significant growth and are now regularly attended by over 100 local business owners and HR Practitioners.

The forums are co-ordinated by Community and Business Partners and are held every four months to discuss local private sector business issues and share best practice between HR professionals and business owners.

The forum is free to attend and meetings cover issues relevant to HR including employee engagement, legal updates and case studies.

Joanne Pickering, Director of HR, Training & Quality at Forbes Solicitors who chairs the meetings comments, “The Lancashire HR Employer’s Forums have continued to go from strength to strength. Attendees continue to tell me how useful they find the Forums and how much they enjoy meeting colleagues from different businesses, learning from one another and sharing practical experiences to assist in the management, development and engagement of their employees.”

Jaydee Davis, Operations Manager at Community and Business Partners adds, “Community & Business Partners are delighted to continue our relationship with Forbes Solicitors, together we have really seen these forums grow and become a main stay in the calendars of many local businesses”.

The next Forum will take place on 5th July at Samlesbury Hotel, 9am until 11.30am, and will feature renowned speaker and author Paul McGee – the SUMO guy. Paul is one of the UK’s leading speakers on the subject of change, workplace relationships and motivation. His book SUMO (shut up, move on) became an instant bestseller.
