Local firm provides new opportunities for apprentices in fibre optic industry

Lancashire based Networx3 Ltd has qualified as a living wage business and has set up an internal apprenticeship training facility to train young people within the fibre optics industry in what is a growing and exciting sector.

Networx3, a local independent company from Burnley, boasts some amazing fibre optics contracts, working alongside some of the most prestigious clients in the industry including Greater Manchester Police and Scottish Power. Networx3 provide ongoing cabling services for a wide range of companies.

Caroline Earnshaw, Commercial Director, Networx3, observed: ” Business communication is constantly changing and demands from our clients are becoming more and more. We have therefore invested to ensure all our systems and methods of installation are state of the art, but are flexible enough to be implemented in various industries. We are proud of our growing team and the fact that all staff are employed by the business providing security and longevity for all the people who work for us”

“We have invested heavily into research and development and this enables us to routinely meet and exceed customers’ expectations on quality and service. This has excelled us within our field and enabled us to win new contracts and maintain existing ones.  The ultimate achievement from this is that it ultimately increases job opportunities in Lancashire- something we are very proud of”

“As a business of 40 employees and growing, with a vast amount of experience and expertise. We felt now more than ever we needed to engage with young people wanting to get into our industry. We take pride in our state of the art equipment and our internal apprenticeship facility.

“What is paramount to our future success is the development opportunities we give to our three apprentices currently undergoing training. We will also be looking for a further eight apprentices over the next 12 months, which goes to show our industry and business model is not only right for our clients but for our team.”
