MEET AND QUESTION PRESTON’S PARLIAMENTARY CANDIDATES

The city’s three main parliamentary candidates are to take part in a debate and question and answer session ahead of Prestonians going to the poll.

The ‘Hustings’ event, which takes place at 5.00pm on Wednesday 31st May at UCLan’s Harris Building will see Labour candidate Mark Hendrick, Liberal Democrat candidate Neil Darby and Conservative hopeful Kevin Beaty take the platform.

The event will provide an opportunity for election candidates to debate policies, answer questions from the business audience and allow those in attendance the opportunity to hear the views of the candidates and their respective parties – ahead of the general election.

The event is being staged by the NWL Chamber of Commerce and Preston Business Improvement District.

Attendees are welcome to submit questions in advance to be put to the panel. The event is open to business representatives only and places can be reserved by emailing:
