Kommerling UK appoints Chemical Technologies Ltd (CTL) as UK distributor for the Cilbond range
Kommerling UK has announced the appointment of Chemical Technologies Ltd (CTL) as a distributor for its Cilbond products in the UK. The product range includes high-performance primers and bonding agents, designed to chemically bond rubber and polyurethane elastomers during the moulding/casting processes to a variety of substrates including metals, plastics and fabrics.
Graham Hobbs, Technical Sales Manager for Kommerling explained more about the appointment; “Much of Cilbond’s business is overseas and we were conscious that some of our UK customers were not getting the level of support they deserved. The CTL team have extensive knowledge and experience in this specialist market and are already delivering a high-quality service to organisations across the country.”
“This appointment by Kommerling is a terrific opportunity for our company,” said Andy Thomas, MD at CTL. “We have specialist storage facilities at our Cotswold headquarters which means we are able to hold good stock levels and meet the needs of our customers. The Cilbond range is widely recognised, and as well as handling Kommerling’s existing UK business we hope to open up new opportunities.”
For the first time, Kommerling is attending the automechanika exhibition, taking place at the NEC, June 6-8th and CTL will also be represented on their stand, number 6C81. “This is a new venture for Kommerling and will be a great chance to showcase the full product range and talk to visitors. The automotive manufacturing sector is often at the forefront in adopting new techniques and processes and we believe that chemical bonding solutions are the way forward to meet some of challenges facing the industry,” said Graham Hobbs.
