New Appointment at the Cummins Mellor Group Completes Family Business

The Cummins Mellor Group have welcomed experienced sales professional Jack Mellor into the business, the fourth and final member of the Mellor family now actively working within the organisation.

Jack joins the Lancashire based, award winning recruitment business as Sales Director for the company’s national safeguarding and DBS checking division, Personnel Checks.

After completing a Modern Languages degree at Newcastle University, Jack moved to Paris in 2011 as a result of securing an Account Management role at AdaCore, a leading provider of commercial software solutions, doubling their UK business whilst managing aerospace and defence customers across Europe.

Six years later, Jack returns to the UK to join his father and Chairman, Richard Mellor, who founded the Cummins Mellor Group in 1990, his mother and Managing Director, Michelle Mellor and his sister Katie Mellor, who three years ago re-joined the company as Sales and Operations Director for the group’s national chef recruitment business, CJUK after gaining 3 years’ experience at Michael Page in London.

Commenting on the move back to his roots Jack said; “I’m extremely delighted to return from Paris to work alongside my family and the rest of the passionate and dedicated team here. I’m joining the business at such an exciting time and already enjoying working with fantastic individuals at the Cummins Mellor Group. I look forward to enhancing Personnel Checks’ national product and service offering across the safeguarding arena and have already started working on some exciting initiatives.”
