Mellors Catering Services Hits the Big Time

Mellors Catering Services, the family-run contract caterer that operates across the North of England last night scooped the prestigious Contract Caterer of the Year award at the Cost Sector Catering Awards in London.

The Cost Sector Catering Awards provide the highlight of the foodservice and catering calendar. It offers the people who work in the industry the chance to be judged by their peers and recognised as the best.  It is the highest acknowledgement of merit that can be bestowed from within the foodservice sector.

Mellors Catering Services Chief Operating Officer, Tony Trainor commented,

“This is a very well deserved award for our team who have worked hard to implement a strategic plan that has seen the company grow by 47% in the last 12 months. We now operate just under 200 contracts within the education and business & industry sectors.”

Mellors Catering Services beat both national and international companies to take the award and after a hugely successful 2016 and a fantastic start to 2017, it is clearly a force to be reckoned with and the First Choice Contract Caterer in the North.
