Marketing automation experts Door4 relocate to Weaver’s Triangle

LOCAL property experts Petty Commercial, have assisted the relocation of a leading North West digital marketing agency.

Door4 have been established for seventeen years and operate in Manchester and Lancashire. The business was originally founded by Burnley-based MD Leon Calverley who set up on his own, before taking office space in Nelson in 2002. The business now has eighteen full-time employees operating across their two offices.

“There were a lot of factors that influenced our move to Burnley, but as soon as we knew that such an iconic building as Burnley Wharf on Manchester Road was available we expressed our interest,” said Mr. Calverley.

“Burnley has won accolades in recent years as a town on the up, that is very business friendly and it’s now becoming recognised as a growing digital hub.

“Along with the town’s stronger economy, we have access to a larger talent pool, both locally and regionally, through the town’s excellent transport connections.

“The building had been the CPS offices, and needed a lot of work.  We registered our interest, and Petty Commercial began to let floors after the landlord had refurbished, so we jumped straight in.

“It was important to us to have a Burnley presence – the business was formed just a short walk from where we’re now based. We’re close to the railway station, with a direct link to Manchester, as well as the bus station – and we’re one of the highest buildings in the town centre, we literally look over the whole of Burnley, so it’s a brilliant vista.

“The move has been really smooth and both Petty Commercial and the landlord helped facilitate everything really well. We’re already seeing more commercially interest and I’m sure that winning new business and securing new staff will be much improved!”

Brent Forbes, the Commercial Director, added: “It was really important to secure suitable office space for Door4 they wanted to be true to their Burnley roots, but they’re a really forward looking business, who have shown great confidence in the area by moving into the heart of the Weaver’s Triangle. There is great business accommodation available locally and this move demonstrates that Burnley is an attractive location for businesses who form the backbone of the new economy.”
