CIM is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Kenyon FCIM and Chartered Marketer, as its new Chair for the North West. Richard, who is Director of Marketing and Communications at Everton Football Club, will take over from Davide de Maestri, following seven years’ service, on 01 July.
Diane Earles, Network Manager for CIM, said “Although we are all sorry to see Davide stand down, we are very excited to welcome Richard into the role and I am sure we will continue to develop and grow the region with him at the helm.”
Richard, who was previously Chair of CIM Merseyside, has nearly 20 years’ experience in marketing both on client and agency side, and has an extensive network of contacts across the North West. He said, “I am really pleased to be appointed to this position. I see it as an opportunity for me to give something back to the CIM, an organisation that has been instrumental in helping me in my professional development over many years. I am excited to be taking on the regional role and supporting the broader CIM objectives, including enhancing the reputation of marketing as one of the most important business disciplines.”
Richard will be supported by Vice Chairs Scott Hadden, Sean Randles and newly appointed Bev Ridyard, and a team of Ambassadors who put on events and activities across the region for marketers and the wider business community.
