‘Dragon’ to inspire business leaders at the annual Choose Chorley Business Evening

TOP business woman, entrepreneur and former ‘Dragon’ Hilary Devey will be the keynote speaker at the annual Choose Chorley Business Evening for business leaders from across the borough.

Hilary is the founder, CEO and chairman of the Pall-Ex Group, the UK’s leading pallet freight distribution network having driven her company from nothing to an international market leader boasting an annual turnover of over £100million.

However, she’s probably best known for her role on the BBC2 programme Dragon’s Den from 2011 to 2012 having started her TV ‘career’ with the Secret Millionaire and the Business Inspector.

Councillor Alistair Bradley, leader of Chorley Council, said: “We are delighted that Hilary can join us for what is the biggest event in our business calendar attracting top business leaders from across the borough.

“Her story of her business journey will I’m sure be an inspiration to everyone, and our host for the evening will be Dave Guest, chief reporter at BBC North West television, plus there will be a Question Time session, so it promises to once again be an exceptional event. I would urge any business who has not yet booked, to snap up the last remaining places left – they’re free and all you need to do to book is just visit www.eventbrite.co.uk and search Choose Chorley Business Evening.”

The event is being held on Thursday 6 April from 5.30pm to 9pm in The Lancastrian at Chorley Town Hall.
