KRPR AND FAT MEDIA SCOOP DOUBLE WIN AT PRMOMENT AWARDS

Chorley-based PR agency, KRPR and creative digital marketing agency Fat Media are jointly celebrating after scooping both silver and gold at the PRmoment awards for their client, Pork Farms.

The two agencies worked together to launch and execute the UK’s inaugural Pork Farms Board Games Championships 2016, which was recognised with a silver award in the Low Budget Campaign of the Year and a gold award in the Community Engagement Campaign of the Year.

The four month campaign was executed in conjunction with the Micropub Association as well as a leading board game manufacturer and generated huge levels of engagement both with the media, influencers and the public, building links with Pork Farms and local communities throughout the UK.

Charlotte Tuohy, junior account manager at KRPR who collected the award on the night along with the rest of the team, said: “We’re truly delighted that the campaign has been recognised at such a prestigious awards ceremony.

“The double win is a testament to the hard work that both teams put in and something we are immensely proud of. Taking one of Britain’s best-loved pastimes and seeing it evolve into a nationwide community and brand engagement campaign is definitely up there as one of our proudest and favourite moments.  Both categories saw particularly strong competition and to be recognised by the judges is something very special.”

Jessica Dick, account director at Fat Media said: “The Board Games Championship was the brainchild of our agency partners, KRPR and we were delighted to be able to support the initiative last year with our digital and creative teams.”

The PRmoment awards are one of the most coveted in the industry, seeing hundreds of entries every year from brightest and best in the sector.  This year they were held at Manchester Hilton Deansgate Hotel on Thursday 16th March 2017.
