Lloyd Blackpool’s Global BMW Award Nomination For Customer Care

Having started 2017 with the exciting news that they had been named “BMW Retailer of the Year” by BMW UK, Lloyd Blackpool have now exceeded all expectations by being included in the highly prestigious “Best Dealer In Customer Care” category as part of BMW Group’s international “Excellent in Sales” competition.

Lloyd Blackpool will be the UK’s sole representative in these awards which are the culmination of regional and national evaluations of around 3,000 retailers from 80 markets.  It is therefore no mean feat that Lloyd Blackpool has been named among five other BMW retailers from China, Germany, Malaysia, Mexico and Indonesia in this category.  Indeed, with only 35 other nominees across the six awards categories, to have been recognized at this level in such a competitive and professional global retailer network is an exceptional honour in itself.

Consisting of the Excellence in Sales patron Dr Ian Robertson (HonDSc), the category sponsors and regional directors, the jury will meet in Munich to review the performance and achievements of all finalists in detail, thereafter electing the global winners of each category. All 36 international finalists will be personally honoured by Dr Robertson at the Award Ceremony at the BMW Group Classic Automobile Museum in Munich on 28th March 2017.

Mark Powell, Head of Business at Lloyd Blackpool, is delighted at this acknowledgement of his team’s focus on providing exceptional levels of customer care: “At Lloyd Blackpool, we know the key to our success is our customers, which is why we strive to put them at the heart of everything we do whether they are choosing a new BMW or maintaining their current one.  Our goal isn’t to simply sell them a BMW; we try to go above and beyond every day, doing everything we can to guarantee an enjoyable customer experience that’s designed to accommodate everyone’s unique needs.”

Mark added: “We believe there’s no “one-size-fits-all” approach so we endeavour to understand each customer’s individual requirements and match them with the vehicle and experience that will suit them best. Thanks to this approach we are highly-rated for customer service and loyalty which is why I would like to thank wholeheartedly all our customers for their continued loyalty and valued support over the years.”

Lloyd BMWAnd thank them they did, as Lloyd Blackpool invited all their customers to share in an “Evening of Celebration” on Thursday 16th March to enjoy Champagne and delicious Indian cuisine provided by renowned local restaurant East Z East. Needless to say, the celebratory mood ensured that more than 200 guests greatly enjoyed Lloyd Blackpool’s hospitality and fantastic atmosphere in the luxury of the newly-refurbished BMW Showroom.

Hopefully at the end of March there will be yet another accolade for Lloyd Blackpool to celebrate, but however the jury votes, it is clear that Lloyd Blackpool’s drive to look after their customers has been recognised and appreciated at the highest level of the global BMW organisation.
