Preston accountants’ fiver for five days’ food charity challenge

Staff from a leading Preston-based accountancy firm will each be living off a total of £5 for five days’ food and drink in support of the firm’s charity of the year.

Members of the Rotherham Taylor Limited team are seeking sponsorship for the challenge, which will run from 26 March 2017, in support of Preston homeless charity, the Foxton Centre.

Team members, Chloe Greenbank, Lucy Birchall, Jack Clarke and Ian Sergeant will all be taking part, as well as Chairman and CEO, Michael Barton and Director, Rebecca Bradshaw.

Rebecca Bradshaw said: “We chose the Foxton Centre as our charity of the year in recognition of the real difference it makes to people locally here in Preston.

“This is set to be a very tough challenge, but it is the daily reality for many of the people that the Foxton Centre works with.

“We hope to be able to raise a good sum for the Foxton Centre.”

Anyone wishing to sponsor the Rotherham Taylor Limited team can do so by visiting: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/RTgohungry.

Rotherham Taylor Limited has already made a difference for the Foxton Centre since announcing it as the firm’s charity of the year, having organised a hamper collection for the centre at Christmas.

The firm is also extending a general invitation to a coffee morning for the Foxton Centre on Friday 3 March 2017 from 10am at its offices at 21 Navigation Business Village, Navigation Way, Ashton on Ribble, Preston, PR2 2YP, where there will be a collection for the charity and an opportunity to learn more about its work.
