New ownership for Preston based Natures Aid

Thornton & Ross Ltd. completes the acquisition of Preston based manufacturer Natures Aid Ltd.

Natures Aid, established in 1981 by Lynn Lord, David Lord & Paul Marshall has become one of the leading UK manufacturers of premium quality branded vitamins, minerals, food supplements and herbal products to the Health Food Store sector and in recent years has built a sizeable International business.

Chris Morrey, Natures Aid Director of Commerce commented that the new ownership by Thornton & Ross Ltd. would bring new exciting opportunities to Natures Aid both in terms of New Product Development and to further help strengthen the Natures Aid brand in the Health Food Store sector and their expanding International business.

Thornton & Ross Ltd. based in Huddersfield are manufacturers of consumer and prescription medical products, which include brands such as; Covonia cough medicines, Hedrin head lice treatment and the Care range of medicines. The business is part of STADA Arzneimittel AG which is based in Bad Vilbel, Germany.
