SilverDoor and Citybase grows senior management team with key appointments in London and Lancaster

SilverDoor and Citybase are delighted to announce two key appointments to the company’s national and international leadership team.

Imogen Brettell joins Citybase as Operations Director of the Lancaster office, after spending 23 years in local government. Imogen brings expertise in finance, operations and HR, and is responsible for growing the Lancaster and Citybase business, increasing profitability, recruiting and promoting staff, guiding the firm through the ongoing integration with SilverDoor and the formation of the new company group.

Imogen will also oversee the positioning of the Citybase and Orbital Partnership brands planned for 2017, which will further consolidate the group’s position at the forefront of the serviced apartment sector.

“This is a very exciting time for all the companies in the SilverDoor and Citybase group. As the world’s largest serviced apartment agent we are in a unique position to raise awareness and understanding in both the business and leisure travel market, as well as lead the way in terms of best practice and customer service. It is very exciting to be part of this.”

Alison Makosz is also being welcomed to the newly-created role of Group Head of Partner Relationships for the company group.

Alison has a wealth of experience in the hospitality sector. She joins from her role as Director of Sales – MICE at The Belfry Hotel & Resort, Cameron House on Loch Lomond and Village Hotels, and is serving on the executive committee of the HBAA.

She commented on her appointment, “With ambitious long-term plans in place, it’s an exciting time to join SilverDoor and Citybase Apartments. The serviced apartment sector is growing rapidly and I look forward to managing a diverse inventory and relationships with 965 property partners around the world.”
