Skelmersdale based company wins three FSB regional awards

Solid Sheds Limited, a UK wide supplier of quality sheds, based in Skelmersdale, has recently won three awards at the Federation of Small Businesses’ Merseyside, West Cheshire & Wigan 2016 business awards.

The three awards were for: Manufacturer and Engineering Business of the Year; Retail and E-Commerce Business of the Year and the ultimate accolade, Business of the Year (for businesses with 10-50 employees).

The company was only formed six years’ ago, but has already gained a reputation for craftsmanship and fine quality, which is second to none. This has been achieved through working with the best timber suppliers and wholesalers, as well as guidance from its own fully qualified staff. The Solid Sheds brand is now well established in both the Midlands and the North West.

Andy Hayes, CEO and founder of Solid Sheds, commented: “We are absolutely delighted to win these awards since it is very important to us to be recognised by our peers. To win one award would have been great, to win three was beyond our wildest expectations.

“A massive thank you to everyone who works with us, especially my colleagues, for all your support and encouragement. I firmly believe that our hard work, quality products and excellent customer service is the key to our success.

“These awards will now give us the motivation to improve, so that we are continually recognised as an outstanding manufacturer and retailer in the region. Our vision is based on the strapline ‘strong builds, lasting results’. We can now add: from an award-winning company.”
